Anzac Day 2017

Hi everyone, Lisette here welcome to my August post.

Attending the Anzac Day Dawn Service has been on my bucket list for a while now. This year we bit the bullet and attended the main service in Martin Place Sydney.  Despite the very early start - we caught the 3.30am train, it was an amazing experience!  There was even a beautiful sunrise as we crossed the Harbour Bridge.

I have created two layouts and 2 pocket pages for this one event and used lots of Scrapmatts chipboard and a stencil.

At a recent craft show I picked up 2 pieces of the red paper in the sale bin.  I used both sides to keep both layouts and the pocket pages flowing.

 Products used:

  ST1012 Stencil Borders

CB5165 Lavender 01

CB5082 Leaf Spray 2 (looks a bit like Rosemary!)

CB4060 Ornate Frames 17

CB1159 Hearts 05

CB6102  Assorted Words 21

CB6088  Assorted Words 16

CB1192 Scrap Words 04

CB1236 Scrap Words 22

and CB6109 Lamps 11

Here are the 4 pages -
Hope you have enjoyed seeing these layouts.
Are you ticking things off your bucket list?

Until next time
Happy Scrapping

  2. Wonderful work Lisette. A wonderful way to honour the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country.
